Nasa Pic is a status bar app for displaying NASA’s picture of the day. Note – it requires an internet connection.
To launch, click the little rocket in the status bar:
Nasa Pic will then request the picture of the day from Nasa.
You can select a previous date to see that picture for that day.
You can also display an HD version of the image in a browser by clicking the button at the bottom of the screen.
Some days Nasa presents a video rather than an image. The app cannot display this, but you can click the button at the bottom of the screen to watch the video in your browser.
